象形記憶法
字母T t - 象形樹、腳形，指桌子、支撐物，喻神、工具
T的外形就象一棵樹，所以有tree（樹）一詞。r代表分枝，ee代表葉片。由表示樹的t轉(zhuǎn)為支撐物、桌子（table）,又如tent（帳篷）表示前后二棵樹（t）支撐起帳篷，中間有窗眼（e）和門（n），如果把后一個t換成一個女人（s）來支撐，那就很緊張（tense）了。
T外形象十字架，因此又常用喻指“神”，如heart（心）是hear（心）加t（神），表示聽神的話要靠心（heart），而不是靠耳朵（ear），所以在ear在這里都變音了，不讀［ie］。讀［a:］，我們祈禱時都會以阿門結(jié)束。
t外形還象腳（t），所以還指“腳”或 “工具”，如tool（工具）其四個字母就是各種工具的外形。又如foot（足），stand（站），表示從坐（s）的狀態(tài)，靠腳（t）站起來，把身體連起來（and）。
